Plastic Shot Glasses
Welcome to our website. On this page, you'll
find heaps of information for finding the best deals on plastic shot
glasses, other types of plastic
cocktail glasses and other associated
cocktail bar accessories, and even a couple of recipes for some great shooters.
A Home Bar Must-Have !
A shot glass is probably the most recognisable glass in any bar
due to its versatility and usefulness. The usual size is approximately 1 1/2 ounces, or 45 ml. A "short shot" is a
smaller glass that holds only an ounce, or 30 ml.
Plastic or Glass ?
Let's face it. When you are having a party
where shots are being served, you'll find that your guests will tend to over-indulge with the alcohol. Once this
happens, people's coordination tends to go by the wayside and they tend to drop things. If you have a traditional
glass shotglass, there is always the high risk of the glass shattering on the floor and potentially injuring
yourself or your guests. However, this risk is totally removed with a plastic shot glass.
Another advantage to having plastic is that
you can generally purchase plastic shot glasses in bulk lots and it will be much cheaper than glass ones. Imagine
having a big party where you are serving shots, but you only have a couple shot glasses? With plastic shot glasses,
you could have dozens of them for the same costs as a couple glass ones.
What about at the end of the night? Because
the plastic shot glasses are cheap, you can just throw them away. Also, you won't worry about any guests who take a
few home as souvenirs. If not, they can easily be stored for the next time because they are so light weight and are
always reuseable.
What about colours? Unlike their glass
counterparts, having coloured plastic shot
glasses adds a different feel to the party and can go with any
themes...St Patrick's Day ? Why not serve shooters in green plastic shot glasses? If you wanted to go with
coloured themes, plastic would be so much cheaper than coloured glass!
Recipes for shots to use at your
next party
Here are some recipes for popular shooters
and shots that you can try at your next party. Since you have plastic shot glasses, there's no need to worry about
broken glass and wasted money. However, be
warned ! These shots have the potential to get you very drunk
very quickly, so please look after the safety and welfare of your guests...but make sure they have a great time as
well !
